The Qur'aan said 1400 years ago:
Allah Ta'ala will raise the mention of Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) in the world.
At that time very few people were even named Muhammad. The world hardly knew of Arabia let alone Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).
TODAY:
The Noble name of the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is called from the minarets of Masaajid the world over. The most common first name in the world is Muhammad.
MIND BOGGLING:
Just a glance at the statistics regarding the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)'s name reveals astounding numbers:
- A Muslim who reads his or her five daily Salaah will recite Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)'s name at least 60 times in Salaah:
- 5% of Muslims read their Salaah daily. If we work on just 1% of the billion Muslims in the world, it means that Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)'s name is mentioned 600 million times on minimum in Salaah daily!
- A Muazzin recites it 20 times a day in Azaan and Iqaamah:
- South Africa has 500 Musjids. This equates to 10,000 times that it's mentioned in Azaan in SA daily! Towns like Istanbul in Turkey have 8,000 Musjids - 160,000 times daily in that city alone! The world total is staggering. This is besides the thousands of other times it's mentioned.
