EVER BOTHERED to find out the words of the songs your beloved sons and daughters are listening to?
Music is an integral part of a youngster's life. And things learnt when you find something enjoyable, like music, tends to stick for life.
The tune and words of songs play themselves unasked in the listeners’ minds. And if you ever do listen to the words you will get the shock of a life.
A cursory search for lyrics to songs turned up:
- A group called EAMON in an album called "I Don’t Want You Back" has a song whose title contains a swear word. The chorus repeats this word eight times in eight lines along with another vulgar word.
- Another group called The Prophet Posse in an album titled "Body Parts" in a song called "Murderer, Robber" glorifies the killing of a black man (whom they call by a vile name).
