The Muslim method of prayer or Salaah incorporates many aspects of worship that the prayer of the Prophets of the past had. The Christians and Jews do not follow their Prophets in these methods of prayer whereas Muslims do! Here are some similarities:
Prostration.
Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed…
(Matthew 26:36,39)
Muslims prostrate upon the ground in prayer while Christians do not follow Jesus (peace be upon him) in this.
Prayer Times.
As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
(Psalms 55:16-18)
Muslims pray in the evening, morning and at noon while Christians suffice with a weekly church service.
Washing.
And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat: When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the Lord commanded Moses.
(Exodus 40:30-32)
Muslims wash their hands, face and feet before praying.
Muslims are even closer to all the Prophets, than their supposed followers
