Do you feel comfortable and secure in his/her presence? If your friend’s company makes you feel guilty about the good that you do or the piety that is Islam, you must qeustion the benefit of this relationship. Remember the wise saying: “Being alone is better than having an evil companion, and having a sincere companion is better than being alone.”

Does he/she love you for the sake of Allah? Friendship whithers over time if not built for the right reason.
